About Bixby
Bixby is about 15 miles south of downtown Tulsa, spread along both sides of the Arkansas River with most of the newer development north of the river along South Memorial Drive and the 111th and 121st Street corridors. It has grown from a farm town into one of the metro's larger suburbs, and the business mix shows both histories.
The Memorial corridor holds medical and dental practices, banks, restaurants, and retail that serve the surrounding subdivisions, and those businesses buy the same kind of video as south Tulsa: local ads, practice overviews, and social content. The older downtown near Dawes Avenue keeps a few blocks of storefronts and family-owned businesses.
South of the river, Bixby is still agricultural in places, with produce farms, nurseries, and the fields that give the town its Garden Spot nickname. Farm stands, landscaping companies, and equipment dealers here often want video that shows the land and the operation, which is where drone footage earns its place.
Bentley Park and Washington Irving Memorial Park offer green exteriors for lifestyle-leaning pieces. Bixby is comfortably within the standard radius, and the crew comes to your location.
